Have you ever sat in your room and dreamed
That life was better than it seemed
That someone would come and take you away
To a place where you'd feel safe to stay
A place where you were actually loved
A love that was blessed from God above
For them to reassure you'll be safe from all harms
While they embrace you in their loving arms
For them to understand you, and be there for you
Especially in times when you are feeling really blue
In a place where no one yells or screams
A place where you can live out all your dreams
Where they won't say don't do this, or don't do that
Or make you feel like your heart is being smashed by a bat
They would treat everyone the same
No one would be called by harsh names
I don't know if you sit and dream like me
