My Season of Waiting
My Season of Waiting
Fall approaches with all it beauty, such colors to delight the heart and soul but you are not here.
The cool evenings revive the tired body of endless days of humid heat, as I wait for you.
Winds rip down from the north, into my life they pour, I welcome them as I look for you.
Fall finally fades and in comes the pureness of the serene white winter, but you are still not here.
Thru a window now I sit, seasons change and I cannot enjoy them as I did once because I am alone without you.
I am lonely waiting, the seasons may come and they may go, but I will never stop-waiting for you.
