I dreamt of you last night
It was such a wondrous sight
You had eliminated all the miles between

Like a prince you took me away
With all my problems I could not stay

I started to cry and you held me tight
Just your embrace made everything right
You kissed me and the tears disappeared
I even forgot all that I feared
All night I stayed in your loving arms

Then you said that three word phrase
It put me in such a daze
I told you that I loved you too
And that forever I would only love you
I looked into your hypnotic eyes
There I was left just mesmerized
Suddenly we both turned silent
As time came and went
The moon faded and the sun rose
Then I realized we'd get through storms
I wondered why you were so sweet
Was it fate that we would meet?
Eventually I fell asleep in you embrace
The last thing I saw was your precious face
I awoke and you were not there
It was just a dream, that is just not fair!
Where you are is where I should be
why do you live so far from me?
I guess for now I can only dream
A million miles apart or so it may seem
It may take awhile, but we'll be together one day
if it was meant to be. You might not be in my life
But in my heart is where you'll stay forever
