When I look upon the stars at night
I wonder too if you see the same sight
The eyes that look down upon my face
Are just as soothing as the thought of your embrace
To feel your gentle hands upon my skin
The thought touches me deep within
To feel your lips in search of mine
I am sure it would stop the hands of time
In the still of a moment I whisper your name
It is carried away in the wind and the rain
I make believe it will come to you
And in the moment you hear it and know
That someone in the world is longing to be
And in that moment, you know it is me
If it is wrong, then so be it
All these wrongs give my spirit a lift
You have a great mind and a beautiful heart
Whatever you do in life,
someday we will never be apart
The thought of that day is ever so sweet
But until that glorious day
