Tears
As I sit here staring
through the windows of time,
I raise my hand to wipe
a few tears from my eyes.
Tears of love...
Tears of sadness...
Tears of not having
someone to love me.
I never thought
these tears could ever dry,
until one day I was blessed
by the Lord above the sky.
Yes it was you
who changed my life,
who chased all the sorrows
from my heart.
You gave me your love,
which gave me the strength
to make me see life
in a whole different way.
Today, thanks to you,
there's a new me.
A woman who now believes
in many sweet dreams.
Dreams that I have...
Dreams that will come true...
Dreams that are made
for just me and you.
And with you by my side,
there's no doubt in my mind,
that I will never drop
one more tear from my eyes.
