As I sit with tear filled eyes…
I never believed in wishes and dreams….
To me they were too distant, unseen….
One day I heard the Raven’s Cry….
The shrill, the scream followed me day and night…
The message they were sending was right before my eyes…
For all the time I loned for love…
You were here with me like the Snow White Dove…
The words you spoke, the tender kiss…
I knew I found what I had missed…
When I held you close and so very near…
I pinched myself and wiped away my tear…
For all the lonely nights and days gone astray…
I realized my one and only love was just a dream away…
