Would you continue to love me after I die?
Every day I live to wonder if it’s real
If you love me or merely pretend you did
You made promises I surely understand
Would they last or they were just jokes???
Because I’m alive it’s right to love me
After I’m gone what would you say about me?
Till death do us part is the vow we made
But what would my death really mean to you?
If I die would you still love me? I want to know
This is a question that has been bothering me
You might think that I’m getting out of my mind
As strange as it is I mean every word of it
Every time your love strikes the depth of my heart
I patiently pause to ask myself if you feel the same
Many months I have been keeping this question in mind
Now I’m bold to ask if you would love me after I die
Would you remember all the happy things I did for you?
Would you remember sweet moments we shared in love?
Would you remember all the sacrifice I made for love?
Would you remember how many times I wept for love?
Would you forget me when I swallowed my last breath?
Would you want to love me in life after death?
Would my death make you find somebody else? Or
Would you continue to love me after I die?
