The nights you aren't beside me
tend to get so cold.
They last a whole lot longer
when your body is not there to hold...
When we said, "Good Bye,"
I didn't know what to do.
Now I face the nights,
forever without you...
When will we ever learn
that love is the key?
I wish we would've worked,
I wish you were here with me...
I regret walking away
from the love we once shared.
You will never really know
exactly how much I cared...
I think back to the days
when you were at my side,
when things looked so bright,
and the emotions u didn't hide...
I thought our love was strong,
I thought the future looked bright,
but now that it is over,
my life just doesn't seem right...
Memory Lane isn't so bad,
when thoughts of you appear.
I don't know if it can be replaced,
this is something that I fear...
Where did it start to end?
Why did it happen to you and me?
I think of these questions often,
I just can't let it be...
I will always remember your touch,
I will always remember your smile,
yet having you as my Love today
makes everything worthwhile...
I do not regret the past,
like some people tend to do.
I've learned it is better to love and lose,
than living my life without you...
